Our child has given us a new set of boxes to check and a new stack of forms to fill out and sign. Waiting in rooms filled with anxiety as we try and recall all the dates and events so the paperwork is accurate. We definitely a season where our local hospital knew us and we knew the routine. In many waiting rooms I found myself eager for next the next chapter, the next appointment, the next anything because it had to be better than this. While filling out the medical history on one of those forms I remember scrolling down and being thankful. While we had boxes checked, God revealed how many boxes remained unchecked. I was also reminded how those checked boxes had accumulated a box of medication that is currently collecting dust in the top of my closet. Those checked boxes have now placed us in a season where we now have access to tests that can be done at home. Checked and uncheck boxes has shown us God is always preparing us even when we don’t see pass the current symptoms.
